In hockey, everyone on a team comes
together in an effort to achieve one goal, to win a championship at the end of
the season. For those who are fighting an illness and are looking to end their
battle, it takes everyone coming together to progress forward and find a cure.
Express goaltender, Conner Shaw, knows
firsthand the effects of this disease losing his mother 5 years ago and the
value of family, friends and teammates for support. Now together, during Breast
Cancer Awareness month, we want to support Conner and his father Ken.
This Sunday October 22 and Friday October
27th home games against Stonewall Jets and the Charleswood Hawks are
being dedicated to support Breast Cancer. Donations will be collected at those
games or can be dropped off to any player, coach or board member. Donations
will be matched by the Railer Express to donate to Breast Cancer research.
Thank you in advance for any contribution
you may make and we hope to see you in the rink this season.
