Beauchemin Wins Scoring Title!

For the second time in league history the MMJHL has a three-peat scoring champion.

With the help of an unbelievable 5-point effort in the last game of the regular season, Riley Beuchemin of the St. Vital Victorias squeaked by Braeden Beernaerts of Pembina Valley to win the league scoring title for a third consecutive season. After having already collected his third hat trick of the season and tied with Beernaerts with 80 regular season points late in the third period, Beauchemin assisted on a PP goal by teammate Tyson Last with 12 seconds remaining to claim the title.

Don Osadick who also played for the Vics was the first three-peat winner of the Steve Claus Memorial Trophy between 1981-1984.

On behalf of the MMJHL, we would like to congratulate Riley Beauchemin on his tremendous accomplishment.
