"The Darren Synkiw Memorial Scholarship was established in loving memory of Darren Synkiw, who dedicated much of his time over many years officiating hockey in Manitoba. The $ 1000 scholarship will be awarded annually to an official in Manitoba Major Junior Hockey League (MMJHL) who is pursuing post-secondary education."
